10:00 am- 2:00pm
Experience one of the most important holy days of the Ukrainian church calendar. Iordan, also known as the Feast of the Epiphany, is observed annually at the end of the Ukrainian Christmas season to commemorate the baptism of Christ.
Attend a water blessing ceremony at an ice cross following church services. Bring a glass jar and collect a small amount of holy water to take home after the blessing. Explore a number of historical buildings where costumed role players can demonstrate how Ukrainian pioneers celebrated this special day.
