Come explore and experience the 13-day transformation of Edmontons downtown core this summer with The Works Art & Design Festival! One square kilometer will be overcome with visual art, design, and entertainment. Completely free, the Festival attracts artists and patrons from around the world. Perfect for a family outing, The Festival is an exciting opportunity to connect with visual art & design. Join one of the three daily tours to learn about exhibits, reflect on experiences, and engage in conversation. Take in any number of live performances to consider how audiences connect with art, join an artist talk to learn about the process behind creating art, or browse through The Works Market for unique souvenirs and crafts.
The Works is North Americas largest free outdoor art & design festival: the perfect place to discover, discuss, and develop an appreciation for art & design. The Festival includes exhibits in multiple venues downtown and around Edmonton, live performances on The Works Street Stage from noon 9:30 p.m. every day, and over 200 special events, including tours, receptions, and demonstrations.
